So, I am going to be completely honest with you all...this is an old look that I never posted and these are kinda old pictures! I should have posted this look three months ago when I originally took the photos and bought some of the pieces, but I didn't. And, you know what...thats ok! Working on this blog can sometimes be a full time job, on top of my actual full time job that I have. Sometimes dealing with all of the pressure can be too much, and I just need a break. Keeping up with social media can be exhausting and too much for any normal person, but imagine how much worse it can be when you feel like you have to be spending time on it. Anyway, that was basically just a long explanation for why I am super behind on sharing what is now an out of season look with you. Hope you're all ok with it!!
So, as I mentioned, this look is technically out of season for summer. But, with that being said, you could take pieces from this outfit and make them work throughout the majority of the year. As you all know, this is something that I strive for when adding to my closet. I am always looking for pieces that can be worn in multiple ways and incorporated into different looks. That was why I knew I just had to have the jumpsuit I am wearing below when I saw it in the store!
Again, I won't lie to you. The jumpsuit is on the expensive side. But, it is something that when I tried it on, I knew I would wear it over and over again. Plus, it is a classic enough piece that I knew it would never go out of style! To prove this point, I can proudly tell you that in the few months I have had this piece, I have already worn in multiple times to a multitude of different events. I've worn in to a wedding, wandering the streets of Beacon Hill, and to a fancy brunch to name a few. How was I able to do this, you ask? Well, I just changed the way that I styled my overall look!
One example of how I wore the jumpsuit is the look that you see highlighted on this post. I paired it with a layered tee, a denim jacket, a hat and sandals to make this jumpsuit work for the day. Wondering how I would style it for a nighttime look? Well you're in luck because I've got another post queued up for later this week where I'll show you how I made this jumpsuit for night!
Keep scrolling to see more of this daytime look. As always, you can shop each piece I am wearing at the bottom of this post! If any of the items were no longer available, I included the most similar pieces that I could fine. Enjoy!!
