This week I am pulling some pictures from out of the archives and doing some #tbt action for you all!
Any of you who have had a blog before, or currently do, know the struggle...it is not an easy "job". For most of us, blogging is a way for us to connect to what we are passionate about on a level that is somewhat intimate, so that we can make it our own. But, let me tell you, it is a lot of work. We all have our day jobs, extracurricular activities, friends/significant others, and just other general commitments that we deal with on a daily basis. That does not always leave a lot of time to get our blogging, and all that it entails, done. For instance, the majority of my time spent working on everything blog related is done late at night, or during my lunch break at work if I am really stretched for time some weeks. But, that is ok, because it is work that I am passionate about, and that I am bringing upon myself to get done!
So, I guess the whole point behind all of what you just read, is that blogging is difficult and takes up way more time than one might think. Because of this, I don't always get around to posting things as quickly as I may want to. Hence, this week's throwback look! I took these photos this past fall, but am just getting around to posting them now (sorry, not sorry!).
If there is one thing you can take away from this weeks #tbt, it is that you can build a wardrobe that can be fashionable and stylish, while also being able to stand the test of time. For example...these photos were taken in September, and everything I am wearing has been in my closet for at least two years. This is something I have stressed in past posts. That you do not need to spend the most money, or constantly be getting something new, to look like you are up to date with your style. If you build a wardrobe with great basics, and a few more statement type pieces (i.e.- these awesome Vince silk joggers bought on major discount at Nordstrom Rack) then you will always be able to look fashionable.
